Evotec, Genentech Extend Drug Discovery Pact

Evotec AG has extended its drug discovery alliance with Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, for three additional years. The collaboration, initiated in May 2010, utilizes Evotec’s technology platform and drug discovery expertise.
 
Dr. Mario Polywka, chief operating officer of Evotec, said, “We are delighted and proud that Genentech has decided to extend the current agreement. Both sets of scientists have collaborated very closely over the past few years and this extension is validation of the value we bring to Genentech’s discovery programs.”
